believe-in-the-magic-of-the-seasonBelieve in the Magic of the Season

Happy holidays to you! Today is both Christmas Eve AND the first evening of Hanukkah, a time of magical celebrations for many. Whatever your holiday tradition may be, there is magic in this season of love, light and celebration, and I hope you’re feeling its effects.

That being said, if you’re struggling in your romantic relationship and feeling conflict with your partner, I know this time of year can feel especially daunting. While everyone around you is celebrating love and joy, you might be feeling alone and sad. I want you to know that you are not alone.

There are a lot of unhappy couples who are not feeling the magic of this season and seeking a way to have faith in anything right now, let alone magic and miracles. If this rings true for you, I’d like to encourage you to take a deep breath, let it all out and take a few minutes to read this message of inspiration and hope.

Feeling Connected Even When
No matter who we are, what we do, where we live, etc., beneath the surface or our perceived differences, we are all connected.

  • We are all seeking the joy of living. This urge is in every individual.
  • We all wish to be needed and loved. This desire is in every individual.
  • We are all residents of planet Earth and have the same concerns about the safety of our future home.
  • We were all created by the same Source that created the Universe. The power we have within us is the same power that holds the planets in space.

Even when we don’t feel connected to others, we are connected to others. Please remember this when you’re feeling alone and misunderstood. This feeling won’t last forever, and you will get through this.

Believing in the Magic Even When
To me, this is what believing in the magic of the season is all about. It is truly magical to know that we are all connected and never alone. To know that we are loved even when we feel unlovable…simply because we exist.

Our human experience may not be reflecting this in our current personal experience, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. There is a Divine power within you that knows this truth and will never leave you.

If you’re going through a challenging time, it may not be easy to feel appreciation and love for your life, but it is always possible…and it is always a choice.

Life is a gift and deserves to be treated as such. And YOU are a gift of Life.

You are unlike any other human being, and you matter. You were born for a reason and are here to live your life to its fullest. The more you’re able to step into this truth and claim your magnificence, the more joy and love you will experience…in your life and in your relationships!

So in this holiday season of love, light and celebration, I invite you to believe in the magic that is all around you. To recognize and appreciate your life as an amazing gift from God/Spirit/the Divine/the Universe…whatever you choose to call it.

Now…take another deep breath and let it all out. Go back and read these words again. Remember your truth and your significance. And may you feel the love and peace that is always with you.
